Recently upgraded to a PowerMac G4 1.25G with 80G HD. Partitioned the drive into 3 and included "Mac OS 9 Drivers Installed" in the setup. However, the machine simply will not allow OS 9 on this HD. I thought it would be quite easy to find this info out, but searching has not produced anything as yet.

It would appear that the 2003 version of the MDD does not support OS9 directly (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25114). A little surprised nobody reading this forum knew this already. :( . The table sems to imply that if the machine is configured with the correct system software, then retail copies of OS9 could be installed. A little assistance would be much appreciated.
