Thank you to those that helped me!! :black: I've only changed a couple (because I'm getting sleepy :)). I'm using the candy bar demo and it's really easy to use =D I think I might buy it! Has anyone actually bought it?? Cause the demo does run out, right!?!?:black:

If for some reason I'd have to take in Macky (knocks on wood :)) to be looked at, should I change the icons back to how they were??? Will the Mac gods be angry that I've changed them?? =)

Thanks again!

You've done well! It's perfectly fine to leave them as you prefer if you need to hospitalise your Macky. (Heaven forbid, though!)

Candybar has an option to restore all the icons back to their original state, if you decide for whatever reason you need to make your Mac look "official" again.

One suggestion is - when you're changing themes/icons, make sure you read every pop up window before you click OK.

I had an experience where I suddenly found when I clicked on Mail to check if I had any new mail, well ... Mail acted as though I had just launched it for the 1st time and asked me to configure it ... I lost all my mail, which in my case wasn't any great drama.

I don't know what had caused this, other than I'd been moddin' stuff and clicking on a lot of windows asking for my consent to change stuff. I'm a bit shy of doing any customising as a result.

So, I decided to make my icons back to normal. I've had to log off or restart several times but now finder and dashboard don't want to go back to normal! :O

Go into Applications or use spotlight to find them and drag them back into your dock then restart.

Ooops I just tested it and spotlight was useless or I didn't use it properly. Just drag Dashboard out of Apps.

I'm still looking for the Finder
