This is just an idea but it may work to get more people to use the rep system.. Figure out a way to make it mandatory to leave atleast one positive or negative reputation every time you log on.. Comments/opinions?

That would defeat the purpose of the rep system. You may visit the forum and not feel the need to add rep one way or the other. In that case, requiring someone to do so would not be fair and would not be an accurate way to give/receive rep.

Like I said, its just an idea.. I just wish more people used it.. I have not been around long and have not gotten much positive or negative rep but from what i have seen there are very few people that use it. Most of the rep I have gotten is usually from the same 3 or 4 people.

i agree with Pulse 8 and DB.

if you make an impact you're bound to get rep. look how long i've been here (not long).

be helpful, be cordial, and you will be recognized.

I am perplexed at all of these recent suggestions and issues with the rep system....

I read the forums all the time, and rarely am I even compelled post. I leave good feedback when someone is truely deserving and don't plan on using the negative rep. option any time soon.

I guess I'm a little (or a lot) slow because I've been on about 3 weeks getting my questions answered and I just discovered there was a rep system. Of course, I began to use it because I appreciate the great help I've been given. I think it's a super idea, but somehow it slipped by me.

I like the rep system. The way it is.
