I just ordered a new 2.0ghz, white MB with 2gb of ram!

I'm super excited about getting this, I've been following the development of the macbook since it was announced, and finally decided it was time to make the purchase.
I've read mixed reviews but figured that overall its going to be worth the purchase.

I've primarily been a Linux user, with some windows XP use when I've had to..
(currently running Ubuntu on my work and home PC's) so I'm really looking forward to see how the macbook will handle Linux..

Does anyone have any tips for Applications that I MUST install once I get the MB?

Or maybe a good how-to guide for getting Linux up and running easily?

I'm totally new to OSX (and Macs) world so all advice is appreciated.

I cant wait for this thing to arrive!

If you have trouble with the mouse sensitivity/acceleration curve -

USB Overdrive has been a lifesaver for me.

welcome to the forums!
(and thanks mhc for pointing that info out!)

i think you're going to love the macbook, especially with the extra ram, from what i hear they fly with that much memory - i may have to upgrade myself!
