Hey lads,
I've got a Mac Book Pro and I plugged my guitar into it. I follow every step in the help section to enable the line in etc. When I play it I can see the volume changing in the system Preferences/sound section but sadly I am not getting anything in Garage Band.
Could anyone help me please?

Cheers,

Could be a couple of different things. (1) Make sure that you have that track armed to record. You'll want to click the "record" icon just below the track name on the left hand side of the screen. Make sure that you're using a "real instrument" track as well. (2) What sort of guitar are you using? Some guitars will need a pre-amp or phantom power in order to work. Make sure that you don't need one with the guitar that you are using.
