Modding

Hey pple,

I just spoke to a couple of my pals who are regular PC modders. They overclock their CPUs, run coolen through their systems to take off the excess heat that results, drill holes through their casings to add glass panels (don't ask me why).

Just wondering if pple actually do this to their beloved Macs?

I'm not sure about overclocking, but there are a couple of Cube users who have upgraded their CPU's and experimented w/ various cooling techniques. At least one is using a watercooling system.

I would never do that to my G5. My Mac is plenty fast enough for everything I do and it looks awesome the way it is. Why ruin a good thing?

I've always hesitaed to overclock.....especially when i am happy with computer performance......but if it were really easy.....and...well you know what...I just don't think I could touch my mac like that...it's too good to me now...it's like a mad science experiment....pbg4 doesn't deserve that.
