Network conection

I wish to connect my IMac to a PC network and ADSL router but I am having problems with the setup.

Also do you know if I can usea 3rd party USB wireless network device on my IMac or will I have to get an airport device.

Yes, an airport card will work with 3rd party routers. Your iMac should recognize any wireless network automatically unless it is password protected.

How is it set up? Router => hub <=Mac's/PC's is how I have my home network set up, and I have no prob's w/ it at all.

Yes, it should work, but it'll be slow, especially if you use a USB 1.1 port.
