DV400 imac on OS9.2. Even with no programs running it will occassionally (1-2/day) dial up the modem. No idea who it is tryng to contact or why. Is there any decent (i.e. cheap or free) firewalls that will tell me what program is trying to contact what over the modem?
I suspect MSN messenger as we have really only noticed the problem afetr installation, but it is not obviously on at the time, and there are no control panels/extensions to check for the program. I have turned off the preference for "always run this program" in the program itself
