Safari doesn't have a built in grammar checker, just a spell checker.

okay but how about when you are using iChat and you type in for instance im and a red bar comes under it it should be I'm but it doesn't give you that option or i isn't even underlined to be I

It's likely because "im" isn't any sort of word. Try typing Im and you get the same thing (even in the spell check built into this forum) i doesn't give you a red line because "technically" you haven't screwed put any sort of spelling, just the grammar.

is there an option like windows office has for auto-correct? then he could make an "i" alone automatially change into an "I", or fix any other mistakes that may commonly be made.
