Hi, I have a sister that just got a mac mini (woot!) and in her apartment they (her tech roommates) use a wireless network with mac address filtering and she wants to know how to configure it with her new mac. I dont even though what that is so could someone help me out on how to set that up thanks!

You'll have to get into the router settings. You'll need access to one of the computers that is already on the network, the router address, and router password.

You can find your Mac address by going to System Preferences > Network > Select Show: Airport, it will be listed as the AirPort ID.
