Hi,

I'm switching from PC to Mac mainly to use Logic.

On my PC I've got quite a few plugins which are installed in VST format but from the installations can be installed in DXi, Rtas or AU aswell. What is the format that will work with Logic on the Mac?

Also, you choose the format (ie: VST, Dxi, AU...) from the installation, but all of the plugins are installed from setup.exe files. Is there a way of running .exe files on the Mac?

Your help is much appreciated as I am really confused at the moment!

Thanks a lot,

Jamie

Your Mac's Specs
PowerBook G4, 1.5ghz, 512Mb RAM, 60gig HDD, DVD/CDR, OS 10.4.8
As far as I'm aware, if you have an Audio Unit plugin install option, you should have a Mac OSX installer on the CD somewhere.

Aslong as you know you can't use VST pluggins with OSX, you're quids in! There might be a VST-Bridge on the web somewhere, but I've never heard of anyone who's bothered!
