I have a iBook with 9.2 and 10.2 installed. I set 10.2 to boot, but it will not. I think some OS 10 icons were accidentally removed when running OS9.2. I have abd inserted OS 9.1 to boot from CD but it ill not. I do not have a OS9.2 CD. I do not have the OS 10 CD to boot from at this time. What do I need to do to reboot the iBook? How do I reboot?

Thank you...

Restart holding the command and the "S" keys.

When the text stops rolling on the screen and you have a"#".
Key in
fsck -y
press return.

The system will check/repair your os x startup volume directories.

If it fixes a problem redo the process until it doen't have anymore.

After it is complete type"reboot".

If that doesn't do it…
hold the option key during restart. It "shoulld" show the available systems on your volume(s).

good luck.
