• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hey guys I noticed alot of people checked out my thread. Even though I didnt get any responses overall it's a positive experience. Anyways the problem wasnt in the software but in the computer. When I upgraded to my operating system for some reason it disabled my ability to burn DVD's. My computer would read CD Rom's and movie DVD's but wouldnt recognize blank ones. Easy solution I just took my old superdrive out from a old computer and installed it on to my Mac and just like that it works....

What I learned from this experience is that sometimes you dont get a response fast enough or you get the answer that works. I am very proud that I was able to go online and do the research and fix the problem. I still say till this day that Mac is and has the best community.
