you just need to go into your system preferences and under keyboard and mouse you need to check the box that says "tap trackpad using 2 fingers for secondary click".

If you do not want to turn on touch clicking (though I can't fathom why you wouldn't want to) you can also Ctrl+click.

I can fathom not turning on the double-finger tapping. :) I tried it and just couldn't get used to it. I do the ctrl-click thing.

Funny thing is, I can't live without two-finger scrolling.

So far I'm pretty impressed with my new MB. It's going to take alittle getting used to coming from a Windows XP computer but I'm happy :)

I have a question!! Is it safe to download Limewire on the MB?? I don't want to get any viruses or spyware. I'm just going to use it to download music.

yes and although not impossible, the likelihood of getting a virus on your MacBook is slim. :)

I just have to say that I'm really loving the macbook. Everytime I use windows(which is not much at all anymore, only for my poli.sci class) now I just cringe:bomb: I've also realized how slow the PC desktop I used to use it.

To get that .bin file working, you have to download a program called Stuffit. Unfortunately, you have to fill out that form to download it from their site.

Looking at Limewire's download page, it looks like they have the option for a .dmg file as well. I suggest getting that as it'll be easier for you to install.

Limewire & Trackpad

Just found out about the touch pad thing (I'm a 5 day newby) man it's great. Thanks SorceressJade...

The track pad on the MacBooks is one of the features that really sold me. (though i'm desperately trying to wait until after the macworld expo to make my own switch)

I've traditionally HATED laptops due to the keyboard and the mouse on them, but the functionality and comfort of that sleek little pad is outstanding. I'm still not sure if I want to bother getting a mighty mouse or not.

Also, Limewire is currently being sued by the RIAA... I would advise using a different file sharing program. I find Soul Seek to be good, though the mac version is third party and it's really only good for music, not programs or books or things.
