Need help extracting video from burned DVD

So I made and burned a dvd quite awhile ago with iMovie and iDVD. I just recently created a new movie and want video from the original dvd on this new one. Problem is I'm not sure how to extract the video from the burned dvd and import it into imovie. All comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Download handbrake and give that a try.

A better solution is probably DVDXDV, but it costs.
