Email Signature?

Hi guys

I want to know how to create a hi-res email signature in either Photoshop or Illustrator. What kind of file do I save it as and what resolution should I create it in?

Also, links for any signature tutorials would be cool too.

Creating a graphic e-mail signature is a horrible idea. Total waste of bandwidth and it's going to be blocked by many webmail and desktop clients.

indeed my signature is simply just my name, company name, phone number, then a break and a legal message about confidentiality of the message.

I find graphic signtures in email quiet annoying
