Restore "deleted" photo's from media card

Kids are off on holiday and have accidentaly deleted contents of media card

Is it possible to salvage photo's ?

I have asked them not to use camera

They have been in the Dominican for a fortnight and have lots of valuable shots which they really want

Yes, they should be able to recover the files so long as nothing is written over the top, however you'll have to buy a program that will do the work. So far as I know their are no freeware programs that will recover data but the program 'Data rescue' is one of the commercial ones that will. Here is a link to their web site:

I only hope they have not formatted the card

As the product to restore explains that Fiji cameras totally write over media card

The good thing is that the free download will let you see files that can be rescued so if it does not see them I will not have to buy
