Hey, guys yea I'm still fresh from Windows, how does one format an external harddrive using Mac OS X (Tiger)? Thanx in advance

Open Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities).
Select the disk you'd like to format on the left.
Click the "Erase" tab on the right.
Choose your options and click "Erase".
