The new look is mainly a function of the changes in vB 3.6, the main skin is mostly unchanged.

Mac-Forums is looking to do a redesign in Q1 2007.

I don't like them either. On the New Posts page, the Prefix area is way too big, and blank. Also, I liked the home page and hope to see it return. That and this new "Multi-Quote this Message" button needs to be changed to match the others.

I do like the View post link in the quotes, though. I remember this being requested a while ago and its good to see it implemented.

I like the new functions, as rman said i dont' like the link ads and I dont' like how the skin just randomly stops in the middle of my screen. (it does not go all the way across as it use to, and the adds are moved down.

I don't like the Prefix bit either, is there a way of turning it off.

No there's not a way to turn it off. It exists, because some forums have categories and that's what is displayed in that column.

I don't believe they should be showing up for logged-in members. I'll file a bug for that.

Thanks, we'll work on getting that button updated to match. As for the homepage, it might return with our redesign.

As for the link ads, those shouldn't be there for logged-in members. I'm not sure what you mean by "randomly stops on the middle". Can you clarify?

Allow me, if you view the screenshot you can see that the red bar at the top does not go all the way across the screen. It is designed for a smaller browser window. I don't think this is new with the updates as I think I remember seeing this a while back.

Ah thank you, I see it now. I'll submit this with the other bugs. Also noticed that smilies aren't working right either.

I have no problems with my top bar no matter what size I set my window to. What browser are you using?

You can reach "Today's Posts" by using the Quick Links button.
Right up there next to the Search button.

I like the option for New Posts under the quick links area instead of the Todays Posts. Is their still a New Posts option anywhere?

Yep. The "Get New" button is still up there where it always was.
