Recovered Files??

Hii everybody, im a new member in these forums and im looking forward to learning a lot from you guyz...i have a question, when i open my mac, there would be trash in the trash can, the time before i closed it, there was nothing...when i open it, it shows a folder called recovered files, does anyone know what the is or what it does? Thanks

These 'recovered files' are a normal part of the use of Tiger. They are simply leftover from the cleanup process as Tiger boots, or from a normal logout. Simply empty the trash to get rid of those.
Eventually they'll change it so you don't have to see the cleanup results. This does not indicate a bug, or the result of a problem in your system, it is entirely normal with Tiger.
