looking for an app to use with itunes

im looking for an application that will delete replicated songs in my itunes and my hd for that matter becuase wahts the point of having 2 copies of the same song. say i have a single song from an artist on my computer and then i buy the cd that the song is on and put the whole cd on my computer. could anyone recomend any free apps that will detect this song duplication and either delete the replication or prompt me for an action to take towards the duplicated file??

All you have to do is go to View>Show Duplicates...

Highlight the ones that you want to get rid of and send them to the trash.

Just to be on the safe side, you should verify that you are deleting the correct duplicate and not a shortcut to a already deleted file.

I just double-click on each dupe and if they both play then get rid of one of 'em.
