• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

You can't burn purchased videos from iTunes, they are copy protected and the DRM doesn't allow for burning.

If these are video podcasts or some other free iTunes content, you should be able to use toast.

iDVD. If your mac came with a superdrive, it should have iDVD. I'm new to it, but it's pretty straight forward. Just be sure to check the links (like a site map) and test before burning. I think those files should import and burn fine.

Aptmunich......is the only way to get movies/tv shows from downloaded iTunes via a "hard" connection from the laptop to the tv or streamed via a wireless setup?

Yeah, doing a screen capture rip will work, but it's hardly a very comfortable way of doing things...

Not any more than ripping videos I would have thought......but it seems to be the only way to move legally purchased iTune movie downloads. Not too sure about the end quality at the moment tho'.
