I have a couple of DVD's and I would love to extract the soundtrack and import that into iTunes. Can it be done without any special software. If new software is needed, what do you suggest? :spook: :spook:

audio highjack.

you can play the dvd in VLC or QT and it will rip an mp3 of the sound.

i used it to rip a wicked performance by the shiny toy guns off of mtv.com/overdrive

yeah!

as far as ripping out the actual audio tracks? good luck with that. Hand Brake maybe?

You could edit (splice) it up in GarageBand.
