I have a PPC mini with an upgraded DVR-K05 slimdrive. There is a known issue that when the drive goes to 'sleep', it takes 30-60sec to access or eject the disc.
I was hoping there is a way to keep the drive awake. Looking in the 'Power Saver' panel, there is a box to put 'hard disks asleep when possible', which I have checked, and does work for my internal drive. I do not put my system to sleep.
Worse case would be the firmware is controlling sleep functions. v1.33 seems to be the latest version.
