I have an extra 30 GB drive lying around that is formatted with NTFS.

I don't need anything off of it.

What I am wondering is after I physically install the drive, how do I format/mount it under OS X?

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks.

go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility. then selecct the drive in the left column, and click "Erase"- i think that's what it's labeled- and use the HFS+ (MacOS Extended) format.
