new here! I finally own not one but 2 Macs

Hey there everybody, I recntly made the "switch" to Mac and I was looking online for an online communiy and stumbled upon this one. I just purchased 2 Macs for Business/Personal use. I bought a 24 inch imac with a 250 gig hdd 3 gig of ram 2.16 intel core 2 duo processor. I also purchased a macbook laptop with 1 gig of ram and an 80 gig hdd. I'm in IT and Sales fields.

I decided to make the switch after putting some serious thought into what i want to do with my computers. I built a huge (65 lbs in weight to be exact) PC around 6 months ago and I wanted something a little more Modern looking cleaner, and great for photos, video editing and music making. I've never been happier. I'm currently enrolled in school for a Microsoft certification program where I'm the only one who uses a Mac with Windows on it.

lmao well, I built it for starters and here are the specs:
4 gig of corsair ddrsdram
2 nvidia 7950 GX2's in SLI
3 plextor dvd/cdrw drives
ageia physics card
750 watt ocz power supply
7 fans
amd 64fx2 4800 processor
asus motherboard
3 74 gig raptor drives
1 500 gig seagate barracuda drive
creative soundblaster sound cardfx something. it was 200 bucks and came with a piece that mounts in one of the 5 1/4 inch drive bays
a cooler master stacker case. that was 279.99 for the case.

After i finished my A+ and Network+ certification I decided to build it to see how much i really knew about PC's. Turned out I knew alot. I kinda wish i would have got a Mac pro but I wanted something a little more simple when it came to cable management. I figured the best bang for the buck was the 24 inch imac. That was why i switched. that and the fact my other PC sounds like a boeing 747 at take off.

the question im curious about is there u get the money... >.< i'm struggling to just save up for my macbook.

well, My father and i went into business about 6 years ago and the business took off in a way we had never thought possible.It's been a long and busy 6 years but it's been paying off for the 3 years or so. Are you still in college daydrmer?

I thought so. Don't worry. Once you're done with school it will all pay off. I'm going to schoool partime and working full time. I know what the stress is like!
