Nice. I'd lose the lens flare and the ghosted text though, and darken the strapline.

I think that's a watermark he put on his design, just for safety I guess. Also, what's a strap line?
As a graphic artist, I really have no idea what that is...hmm

It's the text directly under the logo. From wikipedia: " ... an advertising slogan used as a secondary sentence attached to a brand name ..."

Ok, the watermark won't be there then.

There's a flare on the bottom of the V. At small sizes, this will just look like a white spot on the lettering.
