Hi -

You guys were so helpful to me on my switch earlier this year.
I have another question for you.

My father has decided to possibly switch to a Mac Mini Duo.
His main use for a computer is his genealogy work. He uses
a program that is Windows only.

He is a very 'conservative' fellow. (read tight). :)
What would be his most cost effective solution to be
able to use his Windows program on his Mac. He doesn't
want to buy a copy of Windows XP (for bootcamp) if he
can get by with it. Any inexpensive emulator or virtual
type programs out there ?

thanks, Chris

Parallels costs money and still requires you to purchase XP. BootCamp is free

He said he didn't want bootcamp. Parallels is like what, $70? Look on Slickdeals, a copy of XP home will run you $10 after rebate.
