Network G4 with Mini

Hello there everyone,

So I have my G4 733, but thinking of adding some processor speed. I was looking at the mini as an option 'cause of the low cost. Would I be able to have the mini running as my main computer, but have the G4 networked so I could access it with the Mini? Thank you very much.
