Ok, so I got my nice new MacBook up and running and it is SUPER DUBER fast with its 2gb of ram.

Anyway, I need to set my ipod up with my mac and download all the music onto the hd. I also want to convert it from a pc ipod to a mac ipod (its a video ipod) so i can update it.

thanks!

Well, I'd say you should. Macs can read and write to FAT32, as well as HTFS and HTFS+. However, Windows can not use HTFS(+) drives. Unfortunately, Macs can only read NTFS drives, they cannot write to them.

Make sure everything's backed up before you reformat, though. The drive's contents will be lost.
