I have just successfully installed WinXP Pro SP2(slipstream) on my iMac Intel 20" Everything works perfectly!! Now, I want to "windows update" Is it safe to do so? Will it affect the macintosh drivers I installed?

It is safe to do unless you have a dodgy copy of windows. You will get WGA which will remind you annoyingly that you have a pirate copy, not that you have of course!
