Ok, then here's my entry: This time not taken with my trusty Sony Ericsson K750i, but with a friends Canon Powershot.

This is on a ferry to the Croatian island of brac, but you can't really tell from looking at it (okay, so it's technically not taken in September, but I'm only a few days out and really like it :)).

Not my own image... this is a screenshot from the Film "25th Hour" with Ed Norton (..great film by the way!).. I just thought it was appropriate given the month and all.

If that is the standard of your photography then you will go far. It is refreshing to see someone who is actually using a proper camera and who knows how to dev & print and properly. I learnt that way at college and I feel that there are too many people out there that rely solely on the camera they are using doing all the work.

I would love to see some more of your images. Do you have a website?

thanks mate. I don't actually own that camera, unfortunately. Would love to one day, but AU$4000 is a bit steep for a student.
I currently post a lot of my photos and illustrations at
http://dtownley1.deviantart.com

Most of my photography these days is done on a compact digital camera - but it has great manual features for exposure and focus. I'm looking to upgrade to a DSLR when I've the money.

Hope you enjoy my work. Have you also got an online gallery?
