Mic on a Mac

Hi,
I just got a 17" MacBook Pro, and I use Yahoo Messenger to use my webcam/ see others etc. Is there any way to use my mic to speak with others (who are not necessarily on a Mac) through Yahoo or anything else? I appreciate any help you can give me.

I'm not sure about yahoo's support for voice, but I personally think skype's voice & video calling features are very robust...

yahoo voice is still not supported, only webcam... I think iChat does or Skype

for chat i tried skype

it is very good although i find my friends all have msn and not skype

I have had great luck with iChat doing AIM and voice.
