Changing HDD icon

Ok, I know how to change it but just simply copying/pasting the icon I want under the "Get Info" window, but will I be able to change it back later on if I want the regular icon? Also, where are the icons stored on teh hard drive? That way I can move my new icon into the same folder so I can keep track of all of them?

I don't know where the icons are located, but as for restoring the only one. You just do a cut instead of the paste. That should return back to the default one.

I'm pretty sure they're stored in the Package Contents of Finder.

System>CoreServices>Finder>Resources>Images>

Probably somewhere in there, I can't look now, I'm on Windows. :(
