how to use safari

I was used to use ie, and
when you hit F6, it goes to the address bar.
That's a useful hotkey because I often go to the address bar.
So that way i don't need my mouse to do that.
Is there anything like that in safari? so far I haven't been able to find one.

Also, does safari do the searching same as firefox.
like in firefox you type command+F, then that little box
on the left lower corner allows you to search realtime.

Command+L

That selects the URL address bar.

Yes, command+F searches in Safari.

Command+G to search again.

I use Command+A (select all) a lot when filling out forms, in case I mess up, rather than using the backspace key.

Command+ [ is Go Back.
Command+ ] is Go Forward.

Command+Shift+H is Go Home.

I use these most often.

Also, if you have bookmarks in the Bookmarks Bar, command + 1 will take you to the first one, command + 2 the second, etc.

Option(alt)+Command +'B' = Bookmarks

Also pulling down the menus will show the corresponding shortcuts
