good point i really wasn't thinking about that, but as far as the one i am looking at, any reason Samson wouldn't make a good drive?

yea but the enclosure for those are expensive. at least as i understand it. u do have to buy a specifically SATA enclosure, right? u cant just buy ne old 2.5" enclosure is what i have understood.

i was looking at an old 2.5" on new egg they are less than $10. SATA ones are $30. Which wouldn't make it worthwhile.
