Okey.. so... i just started my work education, been using windows for a while (but never really liked it much though) and have also been trying ubuntu for a few days, but never had much time to sit down and learn. But now I start at work (a computer admin thingy... i have 2 years left before i´m fully educated though) and my boss gives me my workstation....... and here i am, never touched a Mac before (hardly even seen one) and now i have to sit and learn to operate X-server, and use Paralella or something, and stuff within a month... so i thought, I need help.

Been doing the get started with your mac thing and going from windows to mac... but does anyone of you have a good suggestion on what to do next in my learning prosess? need help very quicly, i´m supposed to use X-server within the end of August......

btw, the one i have now is a MacBook (the new one with OS X 10.4-tiger or something)

A bit confusing...you're using a MacBook, with Parallels, if I understood well, but you need to use X-Server... (?!?)
Do you mean using Mac OS X (the OS), or maintaining an Xserve, which is hardware running Mac OS X Server (server versiom of OS X)?
You can't install Mac OS X Server on a MacBook, because the retail version of Mac OS X Server runs only on PowerPC Macs, not Intel (like the MacBook).

True, you would get better results from us and your learning curve if you at least took enough interest to learn the correct terminology.
