I just got a MacBook.
I got a mini DVI to DVI to hook upto my widescreen.
What i want to know. Is there a way you to turnoff the laptop screen and just have the external screen on?

If you have an external keyboard/mouse plugged into it, just shut the lid then press a key to wake it out of sleep.
