i like to pot in some radio here and there, usually hot talk.

the site i generally listen to, www.wkrk.com is a free fm station for CBS, but i can't get it to stream on any of the browsers on my Mac (firefox, opera, safari)

i right click the link, set it to allow the flash player, i even made it stop blocking pop ups, still no go.

has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? i'm stumped.

I went to the link you sent me, clicked the live button, it popped up a registration page, I made up a bunch of junk for it, hit submit and it loaded up the media applet. I got the URL for the media applet and posted it here seeing if maybe you loaded it directly if you could get it going

My Firewall in OSX is not turned on if that helps.

Solved

thank you Mac World

for some reason, intel macs need rosetta enabled.

so you close your browser, get info, enable rosetta.

rosetta slows things down (like.. a LOT), so i d/l'ed camino and i'm just going to make that my radio streaming browser.
i was a firefox user, but i've had a renaissance with Safari the last few weeks.
