Okay, I want to enable my mac so that I can access it from anywhere in the world (similar to Remote Desktop for XP Pro). Is there a FREE way to do this?

VNC is what opens up the possibility for the remote connection. Chicken of the VNC is the program that connects

I use www.logmein.com.. It's web/java-based.. Just sign up and you can do free remote desktopping.. I'm not sure if you can actually add Mac's to your list of computers.. But I can control wintels from my Mac using it.

What i did was enable the Apple RDP in Sys prefs. I then passed the ports from my firewall to my internal ip (i think the ports were 5900 and 3283). If i am on my PC at work i use Tight VNC viewer or if i'm on a Mac i use Chicken of the VNC. :)
