Nothing from that site is a "general" problem. That site is extremely misleading, as is their name "Apple Defects". They would make it appear that all products are flawed and that the issues and/or complaints that some users have are universal and widespread. In actuallity, the issues on that site are small in comparison to the actual number of units produced and sold.
If you look at their disclaimer, you will even see how they themselves agree that these problems are not common or product-centric issues:

So to answer your question, no it is not limited to the MacBook, nor is it a general problem. It is merely a chance issue that you may or may not experience. Unfortunate as it may be, this is to be expected when things are mass produced. Take whatever that site says with a grain of salt.
