Energy Saving Features

Hi everyone. Ive been trying to figure something out on my new macbook since i got it. I figured out how to take off the screen saver and the sleep options, but how do you stop the macbook from dimming the screen every minute if you dont touch it and then turning the screen off all together but leaving the computer on when you dont touch it for another minute or 2? im new to macs so this may be an easy feature, but any help would be appreciated.

even when the battery is on I'd like to find a feature that leaves it at full brightness forever

Its in the system preferences, energy saver I believe its called.
You have to go in there and customize the options and then you can slide
over the bar so that it says to never shut off the monitor or what not.
But I think if its the dimming thing that you are talking about i might
do that automatically just like the sleep feature when closing the lid, really can't get rid of it...
