AHH i didnt enable firewall on my macbook!

I use the internet a lot for a lot of personal info like online banking and such. I barely realized that OSX had a built in firewall and I recently enabled it. Will this be a big issue?

It ships with the firewall on by default, if it was off someone turned it off.

My Firewall was off when I first got my MBP... Interesting... Well, not really.

Not anymore it doesn't. I don't know if it happened at the Intel switch or earlier, but it's off by default now.

Yeah, my macbook def didnt have firewall enabled.

My iMac DEFINATELY hade the firewall enabled. At least I think so...

My mini didn't.

Same here.
I had to enabled it myself.

quad did not have firewall enabled, did it on my own.

I did a fresh install of OS X on my Macbook, updated to 10.4.7, and it was disabled by default.

I had to enable it.

That might be the reason for me then.
Most likely after update my software, including the OS, it might have disabled itself.
