mac the ripper

well, i am pretty new here as well to the mac world. anyways, I have download mac the ripper multiple times and it appears like a drive on the desktop. when i try to move it to applications, it creates an alias but after i eject it from the desktop- only the alias is found in spotlight. needless to say, the alias goes nowhere.

this is probably very basic, but any thoughts?

how do you move it? do you manually take the application icon, which is inside the drive, and move it into your applications folder. thats how you need it

That worked, i was moving the whole drive. like i said figured it would be simple... Thanks!
