uploading dvd

maybe i'm just dumb but when I try to pull the dvd files into itunes nothing happens. How can I put a dvd on my ipod?

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can put a "DVD" on your Ipod.
You have to use a tool like "handbrake" to convert it to a "mp4" file.
Do a search in google. ot click the link for a tutorial.

Go HERE and read EVERY thread on the first page of that forum. By time you are done you will know to do what you are asking.

My son uses Handbrake and he had it all figured out in about 10 minutes. I now have all kinds of video on my iPod.

I also find that even if Handbrake doesn't put it into an iPod format, iTunes will sometimes do it for you. I haven't quite figured out what it can and can't do though.
