windows formatted iPod wont work on mac?

i heard that a windows ipod can be used on a mac just not vice versa but itunes wont recognize my ipod it only gives me the option of restoring my factory settings and deleting all my songs. Can anyone help i think ts just a simple problem and i am an idiot.

when you hook it up to your mac it should have a warning pop up asking if you want to make this the default computer for this ipod, or something like that, just cancel the message and it should work

I was worried I would have to reformat my iPod, but no the Mac strikes again, It worked perfectly the second I plugged it in.

phew, my ipod is my main media storage device for now, that would have been a problem!

^ all the intel comps have no issues when you plug the iPod in, its great!
