No school and big money for the kid with the snow blower on a block with lots of old people

I love snow too! Last night as I was walking to my apartment door, the snow was gently falling. And I could smell it! Which makes me think. Why can you sometimes smell snow? I'd like to know the scientific explanation for that.

I believe that what you are smelling is non polution.. it is cleaning up the air and you notice the difference and think that it is the snow that smells, but in reality it's the polution that is missing so to us it smells different. :)

all recorded snow fall in Houston

lets see, i was born in 1983 and if i never left the city, i would only have seen a little more than 3" of snow in my entire life. Thats including if I was old enough to remember the snow from 1985, which i dont.

luckily ive travelled.

lol, lets see if i was born in 1984 and if i never left my home city, i would have seen a little more than 500' of snow in my entire life. thats including if i was old enough to remmber the snow from 1992, which I am.

Unfortunatly ive travelled north during winter and have seen more white crap than I care to.

Ok.. wow.. Im 27 and if I would have stayed in Big Bear all my life up to the end of last year.. I would have seen 1922.3 inches of snow in my lifetime :) Or 160 feet 2.3 inches.. not too shabby :)

The only real snow I have seen was in Chicago, when I was a little boy.
