a few MacBook questions.

okay i just got my macbook today and have never used a mac before. i have a few questions and would appreciate it if someone could help me out.

1. how do i restart my macbook?

2. how do i switch to XP without clicking parallels and doing it manually?

3. how do i record video clips?

any help is appreciated.

1. Click on the blue Apple in the upper lefthand corner of the screen and select "Restart...".

2. What exactly do you mean, going fullscreen? First of all, you need to install Parallels' Tools from the VM menu. This will enable you to mouseover the XP window and control it without clicking inside of it to activate it (if the Parallels window is the active window). From there you can press CTRL-ALT to go fullscreen (and vice-versa).

3. How do you record video clips from where? A DVD player? A webpage?

To use the built-in webcam, open QuickTime Player, and go to File > New Movie Recording. To begin recording, click the red button.
