Ugh, as I was registering my newly acquired applecare, the apple website gave me some Bull---- message about how my serial number on my MBP wouldn't register. anyway, I got this MBP off the apple website, so I doubt there's anything wrong with the serial number. I did, however, leave the page with the info in it for about an hour, and then came back, only to find it erased. Could that have anything to do with it? any suggestions?

I will try the applecare hotline when it's open for business tomorrow...but If someone could share their wisdom it would be much appreciated....

Just call the Apple hot line. They should be able to clear it up.

I am assuming the you resolved the problem, since you post was from last night.
