WEP-HEX 128 is pretty standard... WPA is actually more secure though. You will put the passcode into your router and then when you join the network on your macbook it will ask for it... just enter and go.

First, check out the search feature in these forums. It rocks!

1. AdiumX will let you connect to and manage chats for several accounts (Yahoo, AIM, etc). You can download it from www.versiontracker.com

2. There is a freeware program called ipoddisk or something like that. There are others as well.

3. I don't know. search here and on versiontracker and macupdate

Congrats on the new MacBook!

Before you start any new threads, please take the time to use the SEARCH FUNCTION
I see the others were kind enough to post replies, but all of your first few questions have been asked numerous times before and there are a plethora of threads that have already answered those same questions.
So again, if you have more questions SEARCH for the answers before you post new threads.

Please, please, please try the search function before asking. All three of those questions have been asked and answered many times. You'll find lots of valuable answers by searching first.
